dc.description.abstract |
The first part of this study consists of a discussion of transmission line
parameters and the dynamic factors that influence them. Different
types of impedance relay and their respective philosophies of operation
are subsequently mentioned. The calculated line parameters are
applied theoretically to impedance relays and the results verified by
computer simulation. Finally, conclusions are reached and suggestions
made to improve the setting and application of impedance relays on
feeders. |
